H.E.R.O. Institute Scholarships
First Alumni Medical Assisting Scholarship:
The First Alumni Medical Assisting Scholarship provides $2,000 of tuition assistance for eligible students who are among the first 10 graduates of the institution's medical assisting program. The award is a recognition that the student's early participation has helped to establish the quality and reputation of the program. Students cannot be eligible for other financial aide, and not be a past recipient of the first alumni scholarship.
Requirements:
- Recipients of First Alumni Scholarships must complete and graduate the program of enrollment to meet the alumni requirement.
- Students who do not complete and pass the enrolled program will be responsible for the full tuition amount.
- Progress will be assessed at the midpoint of the course. Students with a score less than 75% will be notified that their scholarship eligibility is in jeopardy. If the student does not have a score above 75% or more once they have reached 75% of the completion of the course the student will become ineligible for the First Alumni Scholarship.
First Alumni Patient Care Technician Scholarship:
The First Alumni Patient Care Technician Scholarship provides $1,000 of tuition assistance for eligible students who are among the first 10 graduates of the institution's patient care technician program. The award is a recognition that the student's early participation has helped to establish the quality and reputation of the program. Students cannot be eligible for other financial aide, and not be a past recipient of the first alumni scholarship.
