Enrollment Requirements

  • Must be 17 years of age or older

  • GED or High School Diploma or Pass literacy exam with 75% or higher.

  • Government issued ID

  • Social Security card

  • Negative PPD Test

If you have a background concern, please let us know and different clinicals may be arranged. Students do NOT have to supply Wellstar requirements if they conduct labs onsite at the school.

Do I Need any Prior Nurse Aide Training?

No. Being a Certified Nurse Aide requires you to take and pass a Nurse Aide Training Program and pass the state licensing exam.

  • 30 hours lab in person

  • Day Class: M-Th (3 weeks)

  • M-Th: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM in person at Nursing home

  • M-Th: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM in person hands-on learning/theory on campus

  • Evening Class: M-Th (5.5 weeks)

  • M-Th: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM in person hands-on learning/theory on campus

  • M-Th: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM in person at Nursing home
